Welcome!

Why Pray? Who Cares?

1. Bible has over 500 references to prayer

2. Bible has over 100 recorded prayers

3. Jesus Christ gave us a Model on the Lords Prayer

4. Allows us to:
o Offer up our desires to God
o In His will
o In the Name of Jesus Christ
o With confession of our sins
o Acknowledging His mercies to us

5. As Christians it is our privilege to pray! We need
only do it. We are never alone!

6. Jesus Christ said we should pray always: Then Jesus
told his disciples a parable to show that they should
always pray and not give up. (Luke 18:1)
o Parable of persistent woman and the Judge

7. Trinity - God in Three Persons:
o Father promises to listen
o Son died to provide us access
o Holy Spirit prompts true prayer
